Why Choose Alexis Pace?

Alexis Pace is a lifelong Nassau resident and has lived in Long Beach for over 23 years. She is an award-winning business professional, mother to three children, and currently sits on the Long Beach School Board of Trustees.

Alexis is a common sense Democrat running for Nassau County Legislature because she’s tired of representatives who put politics over people. Alexis knows the Nassau County government can do more to help the residents of Nassau, and she’s running to deliver the relief Nassau needs.

Alexis is a fierce advocate for women’s rights, improving access to mental healthcare, and for preserving open spaces in our communities. Alexis is the mother to a child with Down Syndrome, and she found her voice advocating not only for her daughter but for the children of other families who did not have someone to speak for them. Alexis will bring that passion for delivering results to the Nassau County Legislature.

No stranger to challenges, Alexis faced her toughest opponent in late 2022 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Alexis beat the diagnosis and is now an outspoken advocate for those living with their own diagnosis.

Alexis is not an ordinary politician, and she won’t bring the same ordinary approach to the Nassau County Legislature that has failed Nassau families for so long. She will bring a solution-oriented, fresh, and innovative approach to the Legislature as she fights for a better quality of life for all residents of District 4
